IT IS SO FANTASTIC CAR DESIGN. HAVE YOU BEEN SEE IT BEFORE. LOOKED IT
DON'T WORY YOU WILL FIND IT IF YOU WANT.

Celebrating the fortieth anniversary of the 1968 Shelby Cobra GT500KR, Ford and Shelby Automobiles will unveil the 2008 Shelby GT500KR at the2007 New York International Auto Show. Just like its 1968 namesake, the 2008 Ford Shelby GT500KR builds on the strong foundation of the Shelby GT500. Packing 40 more horses under its custom-designed carbon composite hood, the GT500KR is the most powerful production Ford Mustang ever produced.

“I’m proud to once again be a part of an historical moment, bringing back the ‘King of the Road’ Mustang, and collaborating with Ford SVT and Ford Racing,” said Carroll Shelby. “I’m committed to continuously upping the ante when it comes to performance, and it’s great to be doing it with Ford.”

The 1968 Shelby Cobra GT500KR was a mid-year introduction, based on the 1968 Shelby GT500. Ford added ‘Cobra’ to the Shelby’s moniker to help usher in the beginning of a new performance era at the company. The Cobra name referred to the new 428 Cobra Jet V-8 that was planted under the KR’s custom fiberglass hood. It was the engine that would once again vault the Mustang to the head of the pack.

“The return of the Shelby GT500KR further establishes Mustang as the true king of the pony car segment,” said Robert Parker, manager of Ford Car Brand. The Shelby GT500KR will be produced in an exclusive run of 1000 units and will begin arriving in Ford dealers in the spring of 2008.

FORD GIUGIARO MUSTANG

HALLOWWW... NICE SEXY.. WUSSS SO AMAZING. IT SO WONDERFULL TO LOOK AND TO FILL IT. MANY MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THIS CAR AND SPAREPART ARE HERE
DON'T MISS IT.

The 2005 Ford Mustang captured the hearts and minds of fans and future owners when the all-new model debuted. But the proportions and design of Ford’s first purpose-built muscle car in 30-plus years caught the eyes and sparked the imaginations of a pair of the world’s leading coachbuilders in Italy as well.

“When we saw the new Mustang, we knew two things: It was the best we’d seen since the original, and we had to get our hands on one,” said Fabrizio Giugiaro, styling director of Italdesign – Giugiaro S.P.A.

So in early 2005, Giugiaro pitched J Mays, Ford Motor Company’s group vice president, Design and chief creative officer, on his idea to do an Italian job on the beloved Mustang. The result: Mustang by Giugiaro – a one-of-a-kind concept powered by Ford Racing technologies, marking the Italian coachbuilder’s first reveal two months ago at the Los Angeles Auto Show

Glass Roof Option for 2009 Ford Mustang

WAOOOOO... THIS SWEET SILVER. OPSS LIKE A NICE GIRL ON THE TOP. OPSSS ...OOOHH SO SEXY. WHEN I LOOKED JUST I CLOSE MY EYES AND TAKE MY HAND IN MY MIND. HAVE YOU BEEN SEEN IT BEFORE?

The Ford Mustang gets a whole new outlook with a glass roof option for the 2009 model year. This option comes in response to drivers’ increasing desire for natural light in their cars,

particularly as their commutes get longer. It also offers a convenient midpoint for those looking for the view of a convertible with the climate-control and structural integrity of a traditional coupe.

The roof is made of specially-formulated glass that blocks infrared rays, protecting both the car’s occupants and its upholstery. This glass also reduces vehicle cool-down time by 50 percent. The model incorporates a retractable blind that may be used to block the sun and provide privacy.

The new roof will be available as an option on both the V-6 Mustang and Mustang GT beginning in the summer of 2008. This brings the number of roof options available on the Ford Mustang up to three. The model joins the 2008 Mustang Bullitt and 2008 Shelby GT500KR, adding variety to the Mustang stable for its 45-year anniversary. The glass roof option will cost $1,995, or half the cost of the convertible option.

I AM GETTING A GT500

HONEY..... IS YOU? ... OOOHH... NO.. NO... COME AND TAKE ME TO THE ROAD. DON'T LET ME IN MY HOME. AND I WANNA BE WITH YOU. YOUR ARM IS MY DREAM... OOO.. SO SWEEET NICE HORSE WHERE ....?
HEYYY WHAT YOU THINK?

To the guy who wants a t-top: You obviously are not a mustang lover. Mustangs do not have t-tops -- never have and hopefully, never will. Hard top Vettes from the late 60's and early 70's. Trans ams, Camaros. These cars look good this way probably because they were made this way. 40 years later, it would not be natural. As for sunroofs on mustangs, let's face it -- except for mustang II's - which is the equivalent of those awkward, pimple ridden, years we would all like to forget. It would have been better if Mustangs had become extinct after 1973 - and brought back in 2005. Yes -- '05. I say this having had a real 70' Boss 302 (which foolishly sold and traded for a '74 Mach 1). See what I mean by those awkward years? Our brains aren't fully developed yet! I was still in high school and got tired of 9 mpg. I thought 20 mpg would be a good thing. I instantly missed my Boss -- The 80's were not much better and even though the 90's 5.0's have a strong following -- THEY ARE NOT MUSTANGS!!!! COMES NOW, THE 21st CENTURY, my wife had to have an '03 GT -- it's nice; its fast; it's very dependable; IT IS STILL NOT A MUSTANG!! It's a Mustang's first cousin however... I have a Crown Victoria and a Vette. COMES NOW THE O5's. THE MUSTANG LIVES!!! I AM NOW A BELIEVER IN REINCARNATION!! I'M IN LOVE AGAIN. I AM GETTING A GT500!! SUPER SNAKE THAT ORDER, PLEASE!! MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS YOU CAN'T CUSTOM BUILD LIKE YOU USED TO. I WOULD LOVE TO SAVE ABOUT $10K AND LEAVE OUT A FEW UNWANTED OPTIONS. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE MANUAL WINDOWS -- I HAVE NEVER MET A MANUAL WINDOW MALFUNCTION. I WOUJLD LOVE TO KNOW MY TRUNK IS LIKE A STRONGBOX... IF SOMEONE BREAKS INTO THE CAR, I WOULD LOVE FOR THE TRUNK TO STILL BE SAFE, AND NOT BE ABLE TO BE OPENED W/ A BUTTON. IF IT IS A CONVERTIBLE, THE SAME W/ THE TOP. ARE WE PERCEIVED TO BE SO LAZY BY CAR MAKERS THAT WE MUST HAVE THESE THINGS? ALSO, I AM NOT A FAN OF A THERMOSTAT SYSTEM A/C. HOW ABOUT A MANUAL - ON/OFF, LOW, MED, HIGH? THE SAME GOES FOR THE WIPERS, MULTI-CD CHANGER. AS A CONVERTIBLE LOVER -- WHY ISN'T RAIN RESISTANT FAKE LEATHER AND RUBBER FLOORS AVAILABLE? WHO CARES IF IT RAINS -- LET IT GET WET!! WET IS GOOD -- CARPETING IS JUST GOING TO GET SOGGY AND SMELL/ STAIN, ETC. MY CAR IS MY HOME SOMETIMES. I EAT, SMOKE AND SPILL -- WHY DOES THIS HAVE TO MEAN THE CAR IS SUDDENLY TRASHED? THERE ARE THOSE WHO WILL BUY A HIGH END CAR LIKE A GT500 SUPER SNAKE AND 10 YEARS LATER IT WILL SMELL LIKE NEW W/ 2100 MILES, NEVER SEE RAIN, ETC. ME? -- I AM GOING TO LET THE VERY LAST HORSE GET A WORKOUT !! EVERY CHANCE I GET, I'M GOING TO SPIN THE TIRES, SLAM ON THE BRAKES --- I'M GOING TO ENJOY IT TO THE LAST DROP!!! HOW ABOUT A PAINT JOB YOU CAN SIT ON, HAVE SEX ON -- TAKE INTO A PARKING LOT AND IF YOU COME ACROSS AN INCONSIDERATE @!##*!!, YOU WON'T CONSIDER THE PAINT JOB RUINED BECAUSE IT SHINED LIKE GLASS!! A REAL DRIVER'S CAR..... ARE YOU HEARING ME FORD???

Quick Drive: 2009 BMW 750i

It's not easy to replace flame surfacing, the Bangle butt, and iDrive with a new car that's just as radical. Without appearing to try, BMW has pulled this off with equally controversial styling and potentially infuriating new technology. American luxury-car buyers will have the choice of just one version when it launches in November: the 750i, which means we get it only with the new 4.4L twin-turbo V-8, making 407 hp and 442 lb-ft in Euro trim. The engine first appeared in the X6, in which it is rated 400 hp and 450 lb-ft for the U.S. BMW says fuel efficiency is 1.8 percent better than the outgoing 750i, achieves ULEV2 and EU 5 emissions standards, and is the most efficient car in its class.

The other radical new option is Integral Active Steering, which controls the steering angles, front and rear. Like four-wheel steering from, say, GMC and Honda before it, the rear wheels turn (up to three degrees, either way) with the front wheels at low speeds, opposite them at higher speeds. The 7's turning radius is tightened, making the car feel smaller than it is in tight places. Turn off the Dynamic Stability Control completely and you can steer with the throttle and bring the tail out, but only within limits of what is still a very large car. Despite an 82-lb weight reduction, including more standard equipment on the new model, it's still too big and heavy to drift through left-right transitions.
